Karen Rossilli-Kiefer – Owner, President
Now solely owned by Karen Rossilli-Kiefer, PAR Flooring, Inc. was founded in 1992 as a “mother and daughter team” and became a Certified WBE (Woman Business Enterprise) by the State of NJ in 1997.
Karen has been the President of PAR since 1999. Due to her strong business acumen, tireless work ethic and refined design skills, Karen has developed and grown strong in an otherwise male dominated profession. She continues to successfully compete and thrive, and has earned the respect of both business peers and clients. Ongoing professional education remains an important focus for Karen’s commitment to PAR Flooring Inc.
Karen Rossilli-Kiefer has a flair for design and business. After graduating from Drexel University with a degree in Design & Merchandising, Karen quickly developed strong career and managements skills in product development for Talbots, J Crew and Calvin Klein. Outstanding product development and management skills led to being recruited to run the US Operations for Shonfeld’s USA. While at Shonfeld, Karen managed their Chinese production and US distributions.
"Caring is Sharing"
has been a philosophy Karen has enacted at PAR since the business was founded in 1992. One percent of gross sales are donated to five local charities. PAR clients choose which charity will receive the donation generated by their project. This philanthropic focus has expanded beyond PAR Flooring, Inc. As a long standing member of ICREW-NJ, Karen helped form the Philanthropy Committee for this professional organization over 10 years ago. She was awarded the first ever Star Award issued by ICREW-NJ for her philanthropic efforts and ingenuity to develop women focused events that help strengthen women in the workforce and their family lives.
Karen has orchestrated a toy drive on behalf of ICREW and its members to benefit the Jersey Battered Women’s Shelter. Each holiday season for 9 consecutive years these toys have been distributed to mothers who have left the shelter and are on their own but still cannot afford to buy toys for their children. 339 children enjoyed happy holidays last year largely due to Karen’s efforts.
Karen enjoys working with other women professionals in complementary trades and has developed strong alliances to expand and promote women in the construction industry.
Karen can be defined as a successful business woman, philanthropist, wife and proud mother.
Wayne Connolly – Chief Estimator / Project Manager - (wayne@parcorporation.com)
Wayne is a 30+ year veteran of the flooring business. Wayne started his career in custom carpeting and drafting at New York’s D&D Building. Both practical experience and an eye for detail have helped Wayne’s career evolve and grow. Wayne is now a specialist at PAR Flooring in estimating, purchasing, project management and physical installations. His entire career has been dedicated exclusively to providing the best possible scenario for your flooring projects.
Patricia was the original founder of PAR Flooring, Inc. in 1992 and has retained the status of Chief Executive Officer. Her philanthropic nature has helped sustain the “Caring is Sharing” initiative, namely, that PAR donates an average of approximately 1% of gross sales yearly to local charities.
Alexa has learned the flooring business from the ground up. Alexa began at PAR Flooring, Inc. as a Clerical Assistant. Wearing many hats, Alexa continues to learn all aspects of the trade. Currently Project Manager and Sales Assistant, Alexa coordinates PAR Floorings internal process from bidding to project completion.
Adria has a strong client relations background. She was certified Dale Carnegie Trainer and Area Manager as well as a member of Toastmasters for over 10 years. She additionally has her real estate license which compliments our construction trade nicely. Adria handles new business development and existing client growth for PAR.
Scope of Work:
PAR Flooring supplies and installs the following flooring categories: broadloom carpet, carpet tile, VCT, SDT, VET, Linoleum Tile, Linoleum Sheet Goods, Fritz Tile, Cork Flooring, Hardwood Flooring, Medallions, Laminate Flooring, Rubber Flooring, Luxury Solid Vinyl Tile and Planking, Sheet Vinyl, Stair Treads and Accessories, and Wall Base.
Charity and Donations:
"Caring is Sharing" has been a philosophy PAR Flooring, Inc. has enacted since its business was founded. One percent of its gross sales are donated to five local charities. PAR client's choose which charity will receive the donation generated by their project. Over $32,000 has been donated to date.
